Vortex Energy completed the divestiture of a 49% stake in its 56 operational wind farm portfolio with gross capacity of 998 MW. The portfolio is spread across Spain, France, Portugal and Belgium.
The portfolio is also managed and co-owned by EDPR. The stakes are sold to institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Vortex Energy is a European renewable energy platform managed by the private equity arm of EFG Hermes. The company is now working on further investments in the sector, targeting North America, Europe, and Latin America.
