Voith Hydro to supply 4 - 250-MW Francis turbines to Pakal Dul hydro

Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPPPL) awarded the Voith Hydro to supply 4 - 250 MW Francis turbines and generators to 1,000 MW Pakal Dul hydroelectric power plant. The facility is located in the state of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), on the Marusadar River, the main tributary of the Chenab River, at the village of Drangdhuran about 45 km from Kishtwar in Kishtwar district.

The CVPPPL si a joint venture of NHPC, Jammu and Kashmir State Development Corporation (JKSPDC), and PTC.
