Zelestra, a global, multi-technology, customer-focused renewable energy company, has secured a US$600 million green financing credit facility with Societe Generale and HSBC for the Echols Grove (252 MW) and Cedar Range (187 MW) solar projects in Texas, USA.
The PV complex will use hundreds of thousands of bifacial solar panels spread across thousands of acres to generate clean electricity. The construction began in early 2026 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2027, with engineering and construction support from a major contractor. A key aspect of the project is its long-term power purchase agreement with Meta, ensuring that the generated renewable energy will support the company’s operations and sustainability goals. In addition to contributing to clean energy production, the project is expected to create local jobs, stimulate economic activity, and strengthen the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure in the United States.
The projects, Zelestra’s largest to-date in the U.S., are both backed by long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Meta and are currently under construction.
