In spring 2015, Valmet signed the agreement for full-scope operation and maintenance (O&M) for 10 years with Uni Viridas d.o.o. for their power plant in Babina Greda, Croatia.

The start-up of the new plant was in August 2015. The power plant and the automation system has been supplied by Valmet. The services agreement is a logical extension of Valmet's earlier project delivery. The agreement includes a mobilization period and an operating period of two years, with an option to continue. The value of the agreement is not disclosed.

The Babina Greda biomass-based combined heat and power plant's electricity capacity is 9.7 MW and heat capacity 10 MW. The fuel used is wood chips and forest wood.
