Total Eren has started the construction of the turbine foundations for the project, despite problems with workers' unions in Santa Cruz. The Union of Construction Workers of the Argentine Republic (UOCRA) has tried to prevent workers not associated with the union from entering the site, against which criminal complaints have been filed.
