Tilt Renewables starts construction of 396 MW wind farm in Australia

Tilt Renewables has officially commenced construction of the 396 MW Rye Park Wind Farm located in New South Wales, Australia.

Tilt Renewables construction contractor Zenviron and their subcontractors continue to mobilise staff and equipment resources to the Project and have commenced construction of the three site entry points along with the commencement of the upgrade of Dalton Rd (between the southern access point and Cooks Hill Rd).

Upgrades on Trucking Yard Road, Dillon Street and Long Street will be commencing from 4 January 2022. The works involve improvements to the existing pavement, widening and resealing the roads as well as drainage including the Trucking Yard Road causeway. 

The onshore wind project consists of 66 Vestas EnVentus V162-6.2 MW wind turbines which are capable of generating 1,188GWh enough to power 215,000 homes annually.
