The Scottish government has authorised certain changes to the design of the project. The number of turbines has been reduced from eight to seven, which are to be installed by 2020. One 2 MW turbine will be installed first, followed by six turbines with up to 8.4 MW capacity. The maximum capacity of the wind park is still 50 MW. The revised plan also lifts the maximum blade tip height to 191m from 176m and the maximum rotor diametre to 164m from 152m. Turbine hub heights will be raised to 105m from 100m, while blade tip width will be up to 5.4m instead of up to 4.5m. The consent is valid for 25 years from the date of commissioning of the first wind turbine
