Texas-owned power utility signs PPA deal with Engie's Long Draw Solar project

The Texas municipality-owned utility, New Braunfels Utilities (NBU), has signed a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) deal for the 100 MW solar power capacity of the 255 MW Long Draw Solar project in Texas. 

NBU has signed a tariff for the project for US$25 per MWh. 

The project is expected to commence operation by June 2020.
