The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) of the State of Tennessee has launched a request for proposal (RFP) tender for the development of renewable energy projects with a possibility of incorporating a battery storage system of 200 MW capacity.
The proposed projects must be located in the TVA service territory or delivered to TVA's interface with neighboring transmission systems. TVA will entertain proposals from both new stand-alone renewable energy projects and resources with integrated battery storage that will be operational by 2023.
The deadline for the submission of the proposals is on April 24, 2020.
