Synera Renewable Energy Group (SRE Group) has contracted Taiwan-based Century Wind Power (CWP) to supply wind turbine foundations for its Formosa 4 Offshore Wind Project (Formosa 4).

This marks a major domestic win, with CWP responsible for full-package foundation supply using local manufacturing and APAC supply chains. The foundations will support turbines in waters 57–64 m deep, positioned 18–20 km offshore, within an 85 km² development zone that, once operational, will power about 500,000 households. This partnership not only meets Taiwan’s local content requirements but also strengthens the domestic supply chain and bolsters the country’s offshore wind capacity under Phase 3 zonal development.
