US Solar Fund Plc has completed the acquisition of the 61 MW solar photovoltaic portfolio in Oregon from US solar developer Southern Current LLC.

The Fund has secured the assets by acquiring the cash equity interest in the portfolio. It has also closed the tax equity financing with its long-term debt provider along with the binding of loan commitment.

The solar assets are set to be commissioned under long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with the Portland General Electric.
