Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA has signed its first deal in Ethiopia, where state utility Ethiopian Electric Power Corp. will be building a 100 MW wind farm using 29 turbines of 3.4 MW capacity. The project in Assela, central Ethiopia, will be commissioned in spring 2023.
