Edify Energy Pty Ltd has been awarded the contract to develop a 100 MW/200 MWh battery energy storage facility in New South Wales.

Edify will build the lithium-ion battery energy storage project called the Riverina Energy Storage System (RESS) alongside the 275 MW (333 MWDC) Darlington Point solar farm. Shell will deliver a long-term services agreement for a 60-MW/120-MWh portion of the project.
