Senvion and Heritage Sustainable Energy have executed an 80 MW agreement for the supply and delivery of turbines for the Garden II wind project, located in Delta County, Michigan, in the Midwestern region of the USA.
The wind farm will consist of 20 Senvion 4.0M140 turbines with a hub height of 82 meters. The first 20 MW have been firmly agreed, with the remaining 60 MW conditional. The agreement includes a 21 -year full service contract.
The installation of the first phase of the project will start in 2019, the second phase in 2020. Its development supports the state government's 25% renewable energy goal by 2030.
