The Ríos Renovables Group will build the 15 MW Los Verdinales solar photovoltaic park located in the city of Aldeamayor de San Martin, province of Valladolid.
The Rios Renovables Group is in charge of the construction, implementation of the distribution network and maintenance for a minimum of two years of the park, owned by Goodyields Capital.
The Los Verdinales solar has three ABB manufacturer's inverters and 45,000 modules, which is expected to produce 26,000 MWh per year and generates electricity equivalent to 8,078 households. It avoids the emission of 10,094 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere annually.
The park is estimated to be commissioned in April 2020 and be connected to the power grid. Work began in mid- September, with land adjustments and boundary fence closures. The transformation center and high-voltage equipment are marked (transformer substation and sectioning center that serves as a connection to the 45 kV high-voltage line in Iverdola).
The Ríos Renovables Group has already acquired all equipment in the factory, including structures, photovoltaic modules, transformers, circuit breakers, and 45 kV cells. The investment for the important execution of the project will be about EUR10 million (US$10.94 million).
