Partner's Group secures first close for Partners Group Direct Infrastructure 2020 fund

Partner's Group has achieved US$2 billion first for its latest infrastructure fund. 

The Partners Group Direct Infrastructure 2020 fund is targetted for a total investment of about US$5 billion for the final closing. The fund seeks to invest in energy, communication, utilities, and transport sectors, and in markets including Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific, with an estimated net return between 8-12 percent. 

The predecessor fund of Partners Group Direct Infrastructure 2020 achieves final closing in 2018 with EUR2.2 billion (US$2.58 billion) total commitments.
