NTPC launches tender for 1,000 MWh Grid-scale Battery Energy Storage System in India

NTPC Limited (A Government of India Enterprise) has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) to develop up to 1000 MWh of Grid-scale Battery Energy Storage System at single/split across multiple NTPC power plants in India. 

The tender involves the design, construction, and operation of the storage capacity in either equity or co-investment partnership. 

The deadline for the submission of responses is on August 10, 2021.
