NextEra Energy Resource is considering to put up a 423 MW solar photovoltaic in Lancaster County, Nebraska, USA.
The project, if realized, would not only be the largest solar facility in Nebraska but the largest in the Midwest US.
NextEra has applied an interconnection agreement with the Southwest Power Pool, a 14-state organization that operates the regional electric grid and wholesale market in which electricity producers buy and sell power. The agreement at a reasonable cost would be vital for the development of the project.
