New Jersey releases schedule for offshore wind projects tenders

The State of New Jersey is set to launch the second round of offshore wind projects tender of about 1.2 GW capacity in September 2020 following the launched 1.1 GW tender in 2018. 

The State plans to meet the 7.5 GW offshore wind generating capacities by 2035. There will be four more rounds by 2022, 2024, 2026, and 2028.
