Mytilineos starts operation of 30MW/30MWh Byers Brae battery storage project

Greek industrial group Mytilineos has started the commercial operation of the 30MW/30MWh Byers Brae battery storage project in Scotland. 

Gresham House Energy Storage Fund plc has contracted the Renewables and Storage Development (RSD) business unit of Mytilineos to build the energy storage system. 

The project is located near Wester Dechmont, Livingston in West Lothian. Gresham House acquires the project in January 2021.
