MPC Energy Solutions, IMSA Group signs PPA for 65 MWp solar project in Guatemala

MPC Energy Solutions (MPCES) has entered into a long-term power purchaser agreement (PPA) with Comercializadora de Energía Para el Desarrollo S.A., a subsidiary of Ingenio Magdalena S.A. (IMSA Group), for the energy produced from the 65 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Guatemala. 

The development of the solar project is expected to commence immediately with the start of construction within 12 months. IMSA Group will purchase the energy from the solar farm. 

With the announcement of this new project, MPCES strengthens its presence in the region and underlines its ability to develop, finance, build, and operate assets as a full-cycle Independent Power Producer (IPP).
