MK Fintel Wind announces new 9.9 MW wind project in Serbia

MK Fintel Wind has commisioned a 9.9 MW wind park located in the northern town of Kula, Serbia.

MK Fintel Wind, which was set up in 2008 to invest in green energy projects in Serbia and the region, is a joint venture (JV) composed of Serbian MK Group (46%) and Italian Fintel Energia Group (54%).

The project has capacity to generate approximately 27 million KWh of electricity annually and the total project investment is about €15 million (US$16.2 million).

Kula is a town and municipality in the West Bačka District of Vojvodina, Serbia. The town Kula has a population of approximately 27,000 inhabitans, while the Kula municipality has a population of about 45,000 inhabitants.
