Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction has been awarded a contract by Marubeni for the development of the Fujairah F3 Combined Cycle Gas Turbine project in the United Arab Emirates.
Doosan Heavy will supply 270 MW and 540 MW capacity of steam turbines and generators that will form part of the 2.4 GW Fujairah F3 project to be located 302 kilometers north of Abu Dhabi in the Emirate of Fujairah. Samsung C&T is in charge of the construction of the plant.
The Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC), a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Power Corporation (ADPower), has awarded the development of the project to Marubeni in 2019.
