Macquarie Capital Korea has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a 16MW solar farm and 35MW storage system in Goesan with the provincial government of North Chungcheong in South Korea.
Macquarie will finance the development of the project that is expected to generate power for the consumption of up to 7,700 homes each year. Income from the project will be shared with the residents of 100 local households and the project will be handed over to the locals after 25 years.
Macquarie will soon announce the EPC firm for the project.
