Loddon Shire Council approves South Energy's Raywood Solar Farm project in Victoria

The Loddon Shire Council has approved the planned development of a 200 MWac Raywood Solar Farm project in Victoria proposed by South Energy.

The facility will be installed on about 360 hectares of land and represents about AUD300 million (US$181.17 million). 

Once operational, the project can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 421,000 tonnes per year. 

The project is envisaged to commence construction in late 2020 and be fully operational in late 2021.
