KGAL has announced that it has won a contract to provide voltage ancillary services to RTE, France's electricity transmission system operator. The wind farm will procure or produce reactive power based on the instructions by RTE. It will get compensation for contributing to the stability of the network voltage, a service that has previously been delivered only by conventional power generators
