UK civil engineering company Jones Bros announced the completion of the 37.6-MW wind farm in Denbighshire, Wales, for China’s CGN Europe Energy (CGNEE).

Jones Bros prepared the site for the installation of 16 turbines, put up by third-party partners, upgraded 6 kilometers of existing access roads, built crane pads and turbine bases, carried out on-site cabling works and constructed a control building, the company said in a press release.

The wind farm is in the commissioning phase before being handed over to CGNEE, and once fully operational, it will be able to generate enough electricity to power more than 25,000 UK households.

CGN’s headquarters in Shenzhen and Paris will monitor the turbine performance.
