JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. has signed a module supply contract with METKA EGN, an EPC contractor, for 300 MW of JinkoSolar’s ultra-high efficiency Cheetah modules to be installed at a large-scale solar power plant in the municipality of Talaván, Cáceres, Spain.
The project involved is the 300 MW Talasol solar farm that is comprised of 400-kV step-up substation and line connecting the plant to the grid. It generates approximately 490-565 GWh per annum.
The Talasol project will create a benchmark in Europe in terms of competitively-priced and subsidy-free solar power.
Ellomay, Fond-ICO Infraestructuras II and Capital Dynamics own the solar PV plant.
