Iraq is planning to develop a 750 MW photovoltaic solar project in the southern Al-Muthanna Governorate of Iraq.
The federal government is committed to supporting Al-Muthanna with a large-scale solar project, in addition to several smaller-scale power plants to ensure adequate electricity supply in the governorate.
