Invenergy secures construction financing for 250 MW Phase I of 1.3 GW Samson Solar Energy Center in Texas

Invenergy LLC has secured construction financing to support the 250 MW Phase I of the 1.3 GW Samson Solar Energy Center project in Texas, USA. 

The entire project requires an investment of up to US$1.6 billion to realize the solar farm. Spanish Banco Santander SA serves as the administrative agent, coordinating lead arranger and book-runner for the construction financing while Societe Generale and CaixaBank acted as joint lead arrangers. 

The project will be built in Lamar, Red River, and Franklin counties. Commissioning is expected to be achieved by 2023.
