The Maharashtra State Power Generation Company has announced that it has released a Notice Inviting Tenders (NIT), inviting bids from eligible parties for the deployment of 137 MW of solar power projects in three districts of the Indian state.
The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, testing and commissioning of the three solar projects. The project developers will also be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plants for a period of 5 years from the date of commercial operation.
The three projects are:
-60 MW solar project in Sindala, Latur District
-25 MW solar project in the Dhule District
-52 MW solar project in close proximity of four thermal power stations in Bhusawal, Koradi, Nashik and Parli.
The last date for bid submission is September 9, 2019. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for August 14, 2019, to address the concerns raised by prospective bidders.
As per the NIT, the projects will be integrated with a 33kV high tension overhead transmission line or underground cable up to the interconnection point.
