Imperial Irrigation District signs PPA with CTR's 49.9 MW Hell’s Kitchen geothermal project with lithium extraction at the Salton Sea

Controlled Thermal Resources, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hell’s Kitchen PowerCo 1, LLC, has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement for the sale of energy from the 49.9 MW Hell’s Kitchen geothermal facility with lithium extraction at the Salton Sea, with the Imperial Irrigation District.

The Hell’s Kitchen geothermal project is located at the foot of the Salton Sea in the region’s internationally recognized “Salton Sea Known Geothermal Resource Area.

The project is scheduled to be operational in 2023.
