IEnova secures 3rd PPA for 150 MW solar PV project in Juarez

Infraestructura Energetica Nova SAB de CV (IEnova) has secured a third power purchase agreement (PPA) with a packaging supplier Envases Universales de Mexico SAPI de CV (The Envases Universales Group), to support its 150 MW solar project in Juarez in Mexico's Chihuahua state.

In September, IEnova has secured two 15 year clean energy contracts with subsidiaries of Comercializadora Círculo CCK, S.A. de C.V. (Circle K18) and El Puerto de Liverpool, S.A.B. de C.V. (Liverpool).

The investment in the project is about US$160 million and expected to commence operations in the second half of 2020.
