Ib vogt tie, AG Agro won a cotract to construct a 50 MW solar PV project in Bangladesh

Ib vogt GmbH and AG Agro Industries Ltd have won a competitive tender process for the construction of a 50-MW grid-connected solar park in Chattogram, Bangladesh.

Together with local partner AG Agro Industries Ltd, Ib vogt GmbH will set up the plant on a build, own and operate in Chattogram, southeastern Bangladesh. It secured the project after taking part in a tender launched by state-owned Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), which will buy the electricity generated at the site for US$0.1094/kWh under a 20-year arrangement.
