The Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) of Greece is set to launch an online auction of the 500 MW renewable energy projects on April 2, 2020.
The documents released have set the maximum allowed bid price of EUR61.32 (US$67.8) per MWh. The amount is lower than the auction held in 2019 at EUR64.72 (US$70.83)/MWh ceiling price.
The tender is open for wind projects with individual capacities not less than 50 MW and solar projects of above 20 MW. The submission of applications is until February 25, 2020.
