FUTUREN has announced the commissioning of a new wind farm located in the municipality of Demange-aux-Eaux, in the department of Meuse, north-east France. The Demange wind farm comprises nine wind turbines with a unit capacity of 2.2 MW, for a total capacity of 19.8 MW.
Construction works started in September 2017. The Demange wind farm now produces green electricity, that will cover the electricity needs of more than 20,000 households each year.
This commissioning brings FUTUREN's gross installed capacity to 428 MW, including 200 MW located in France.
The company has also recently signed turbine supply agreements for a 38 MW 11-turbine project currently under construction in the department of Aube, and 6.3 MW 7-turbine project, in the department of Hérault.
The launch of construction of these two projects the cumulative capacity of FUTUREN's projects currently under construction in France to 58 MW.
