Essentia Energia, a renewable energy company based in Brazil, is preparing to commence the construction of a wind complex in the state of Bahia in Brazil.
The Ventos de Sao Vitor wind complex will be built in the municipalities of Xique-Xique and Itaguacu da Bahia. The project requires an investment of about BRL2.3 billion (US$435 million). The company has started the civil works on the project with target commissioning by 2023.
The 465 MW of turbines for the Sao Vitor wind farm was secured from Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy.
