E.on has initiated the public takeover offer of the 23.2% stake for EUR38.4 per share, following the approval of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority. The initially announced EUR40.00 offer value was adjusted to exclude a dividend of EUR1.60 a share for fiscal year 2017. It continues to include the assumed distribution of EUR1.64 apiece for fiscal 2018. The acceptance period will end at midnight (CEST) on 6 July 2018 with the takeover offer not expected to close before mid-2019
