European Investment Bank and UniCredit have provided a total funding of EUR107.4 million (US$127.24 million) to a wind farm in Austria.
The 26-turbine project will be installed in the municipalities of Gols and Mönchhof in Burgenland. It will have a capacity of 143 MW and will provide around 90,000 households with electricity produced from renewable sources.
Construction of the wind farm was launched in autumn 2019 and it is expected to reach completion at the end of 2021.
The facility will be ran by PÜSPÖK Group.
