Dominion Energy, Inc. has acquired the 72 MW Seabrook Solar park from First Solar. The facility is currently under construction and expected to be commissioned later this year.
The solar park is built on about 630 acres of land in Beaufort County, Southe Carolina. The company's contracted generation business also owns and operates two solar park in Jasper County, South Carolina.
The solar park will provide power and renewable energy attributes under a Dominion Energy South Carolina contract that was previously filed and accepted in South Carolina.
