Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios has been awarded by ProInversión with three transmission projects in Peru.
The transmission facilities will transport energy in Tumbes, Piura, Huánuco and Ucayali.
Cobra Group presents a proposal to develop the 500 kv La Niña power transmission project in Piura, with an investment of about US$58.5 million, 220 kv Pariñas power transmission project in Nueva Tumbes, with an investment of about US$19.3 million and 220 kv Tingo María power transmission project in Aguaytia, with an investment cost of about US$12.8 million.
ProInversión awarded the contracts to Cobra considering the lowest total investment of US$90 million proposed for the the three projects. The Cobra Group is set to invest US$98.7 million for the construction of the three projects and US$3.9 million for the operation and maintenance.
