Renewable energy developer Clenera LLC has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement with public power utility SRP for the 480 MWdc solar photovoltaic project in Coconino County, Arizona.
The solar complex will be built on about 2,400 acres of land area and will have a generating capacity of 440 MWdc to 480 MWdc. Clenera is a unit of Israeli renewables developer Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd.
The project is expected to enter operation by 2024. Once operational, it can generate enough energy for up to 80,000 homes.
