Clearway Energy Group signs PPAs for two solar projects in Hawaii

Clearway Energy Group signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Hawaiian Electric Company for two photovoltaic solar projects. The PPAs were filed for review with the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission (PUC).

The two solar projects, located in Oahu island, Hawaii, will have a combined capacity of 75 MW. The two projects are the following:

  • 39 MW Mililani I solar project in the Mililani Agricultural Park
  • 36 MW Waiawa solar project in the Waiawa region

The projects will also feature battery storage capacity.
