CIP divests 196 MW Bearkat I wind farm in US to Terna Energy

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has sold 100% of its equity interest in Bearkat I, a 196 MW US onshore wind asset located in Texas for an undisclosed amount.

Bearkat I has been sold to Terna DEN, a wholly owned subsidiary of Terna Energy. As part of the transaction CI II will finance US$63 million of the purchase price by entering into a mezzanine loan with Terna DEN.
