Boralex Inc. has closed the transaction to redeem the minority shares of its partner, Aeolis Wind Power Corporation, in the Moose Lake Wind Farm in British Columbia.
Located in Peace River, the wind facility consists of four wind turbines with an installed capacity of 15 MW and was commissioned in 2019. At the time of the transaction, Aeolis had a 30% equity interest. Boralex acquired this equity interest for CAD3.5 million (US$2.75 million), to which additional matching could be added, subject to certain future conditions that need to be met.
