BayWa r.e. has completed the acquisition of the 18.8 MW Tralorg Wind Farm from Brookfield Renewable Partners. The wind project is located in South Ayrshire in the southwest of Scotland. It consists of eight 2.35 MW turbines and has secured planning permission in 2014.

The wind farm is one of the few UK onshore wind farms to benefit from a 15-year Contract for Difference (CfD), effectively guaranteeing the price for the electricity generated for 15 years.
