Avangrid Renewables LLC has signed a power purchase deal with Puget Sound Energy (PSE) for the energy produced from the Golden Hills Wind Farm project in Oregon.
The 200 MW wind farm will be developed near the town of Wasco Sherman County in Oregon. It will be built on almost 28,000 acres of land.
Once operational, it can generate enough energy for up to 60,000 homes.
It is set for commissioning before the end of 2021.
