ARISE IIP in Togo has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) for the development of a 390 MW solar PV plant with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) located in Togo. The BESS system will have a capacity of 200 MW and a 161 KvA substation to provide a connection with the grid.
The tender is intended either (1) an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for the project along with operations and maintenance for five years or (2) a joint-venture partnership with ARISE IIP to supply power under a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA). The project will be financed by Arise IIP & JV partner.
