The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has granted the Turkish renewable energy developer Adnan Polat Enerji Yatirimi A.S. (APEY) a US$100 million financing to develop further 203 MW renewable energy capacity in Turkey in the next three years.
The loan financing is part of the financial package jointly provided by Turkiye Is Bankasi, Turkiye Sinai Kalkinma Bankasi (TSKB), and Garanti BBVA. APEY is jointly owned by Maxis and Polat Holding.
The expansion plan will consist of 53 MW wind power plants and 150 MW solar photovoltaic capacities that are expected to provide up to 438,000 GWh of clean energy to the Turkish grid annually.
