Algonquin Power has entered into an agreement to buy the additional 16.5% stake for about US$345 million, or US$20.90 per share. From its current 25% equity interest in Atlantica, the company now holds a total of 41.5% stake. The completion of the transaction is expected in the second or third quarter of 2018
